Winning praise for their collaboration in 2022 romantic drama The Oath of Love <餘生，請多指教>, idols Andy Yang Zi (楊紫) and  Sean Xiao Zhan’s (肖戰) closeness on set – she’s called him a “great co-star” – kept the rumor mill churning.

Recently, netizens claimed to have spotted the two idols on a date, adding that they used the same nanny car and were ferried around by the same chauffeur. According to the same source, the chauffeur has allegedly joined Xiao Zhan’s agency, and prioritizes working for Xiao Zhan and his close circle of friends and family, thus leading to the conclusion that Yang Zi’s use of his services implied her close relationship with the actor.

A past photo of Xiao Zhan and Yang Zi at a gathering with The Oath of Love’s production crew, where the two were closely seated and made contact with each other, led to further speculation that the two celebrities have indeed took their romance offscreen. The same insider source even said this could be verified this directly with Xiao Zhan’s studio, fanning the flames of online discussions.
