Yukee Chen Posts Response to Comments About Her Flat Chest
2019’s Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre <倚天屠龙记> star Yukee Chen (陈钰琪) has de-throned Dilireba (迪丽热巴) in social media trends, and it was for an unexpected reason.
While the 27-year-old is becoming a hot topic due to her performance in the popular ongoing drama And the Winner is Love <月上重火>, a role that oddly reminded viewers of her performance as Zhao Min in last year’s wuxia hit, Yukee is also topping trends for an additional reason: her flat chest.
And the Winner is Love is a wuxia romance that stars Yukee as Chong Xuezi, a mistress from the Chonghuo Palace who leaves her home to challenge the pugilist world. To blend in, Xuezi dresses up as a man. The role is reminiscent of the vigorous and ambitious Zhao Min in last year’s Heavenly Sword, a role that kickstarted Yukee to leading fame.
Dressing up as a man for a good part of the series, viewers expressed their surprise after seeing Yukee’s character revert back to wearing female outfits. While Yukee shines in both styles, viewers have highlighted a small “flaw” in her female look—her flat chest. Perhaps this is why Yukee looks better in male outfits?
This isn’t the first time netizens have made comments about Yukee’s chest being “as flat as an airport.” She once said on social media: “I am flat-chested! I am proud! I’m saving fabric real estate!”

She’s a good actress. People just find “flaws” to complain about.

I liked Chen Yukee in ” Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre” very much. She was the best artiste in that drama series, not because of her beauty, but because of her good acting. Her eyes were telling stories in every scene.
Chen Yukee’s acting as Zhao Min made me understand why Zhang Wuji eventually chose her as his partner/wife. I could not understand why Adam Cheung (as Zhang Wuji) chose Liza Wang (as Zhao Min) in the end of the series filmed by TVB in 1978.
