Zhang Linghe and Zhao Jinmai Reunite in “Cherry Amber”

Gaining recognition after taking part in Love Between Fairy and Devil (蒼蘭訣), Zhang Linghe (張凌赫) has been cast in numerous lead roles. Following Story of Kunning Palace (宁安如梦) and My Journey to You (雲之羽), Zhang Linghe made a striking couple with Zhao Jinmai (趙今麥) in The Princess Royal (度華年).

Months after their first collaboration, Zhang Linghe and Zhao Jinmai are confirmed to star in upcoming campus Cherry Amber (櫻桃琥珀). The latest promotional stills show Zhang Linghe in a denim jacket over a white hoodie, showcasing his youthful charm. Posing next to him is Zhao Jinmai, who sported loose pigtails and wispy bangs for her role as a student.

Adapted from a novel, the story tells of the young female protagonist (Zhao Jinmai) who meets the gloomy transfer student (Zhang Linghe). While Zhao Jinmai’s character grew up surrounded by love and has a lively and optimistic personality, Zhang Linghe’s character is a broody mathematical genius.

Fans are excited to see what new sparks Zhang Linghe and Zhao Jinmai they will share in a modern-day campus setting.
