Dayo Wong Kisses Kate Tsui in “My Prime Lady”

The shooting of Dayo Wong’s (黃子華) new TVB drama, My Prime Lady < My盛Lady>, is near completion. Last night, Dayo Wong and leading star Kate Tsui (徐子珊) shot an outdoor scene on a busy street. Under the witness of 100 people, Dayo proposed marriage to Kate, causing her to cry. The couple engaged in 30-second passionate kiss.

Kate and Sharon revealed their long legs while shooting the scene, attracting admiring onlookers. Recently there were rumors that Sharon and Kate did not get along because they were fighting for more screen time in My Prime Lady. Producer Man Wai Hung (文偉鴻) said, “They have not been fighting over screen time. Kate is the leading actress, but Sharon’s character is also very challenging.”

Kate Hugged Dayo A Dozen Times

Earlier this week, the cast also filmed a crowd scene in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui. The shoot attracted over 50 people to crowd around the premise that evening.

The scene was about a sickly Kate who was wandering around the streets to look for Dayo, who had “lost his mind.” In the meantime, a sharply dressed Hatou (楊詩敏), who portrays Dayo’s nemesis, was also following the pair. When Kate spotted Dayo, she immediately burst into tears and hugged him.

The scene did not take too long to film, but Kate expressed that she had to hug Dayo at least a dozen times due to different camera shots. “It wasn’t a very hard scene to do, but it’s really stressful. Having to shoot in the middle of a bustling street is not fun. The climate is hot, and there are a lot of onlookers. But we did okay!”

Dayo praised that Kate managed to cry out tears in under two minutes. “She’s very good at doing emotional scenes. It has been a really tiring filming experience for all of us, but she still managed to pull out her best. It’s amazing.” Kate joked, “It’s because I didn’t get enough sleep! I’ve been having long filming schedules, so I’m always exhausted… and because of that, I get emotional, so crying got a lot easier!”

Asked if Dayo is a good hugger, she said, “I don’t know! I was too bothered by the hot weather, so I just wanted to complete the scene as fast as I could. There were too many people watching us. It’s much more comfortable filming these scenes in a closed studio.”
