Kate Tsui and Sharon Chan Resolve Their Differences
In 2009, Kate Tsui (徐子珊) and Sharon Chan (陳敏之) were rumored to not get along when they were filming The Beauty of the Game <美麗高解像>. It was said that Kate was unhappy with Sharon for leaking the location of an outdoor shoot to reporters during the filming of The Beauty of the Game. Sharon retaliated at Kate in a slapping scene in the drama. The actresses reportedly remained cold towards each other for four years and producers avoided casting them in the same drama ever since.
However, Kate and Sharon’s cold war was recently dissolved after working in two dramas together. Filming Bounty Lady <My盛Lady> earlier this year and currently co-stars again in Midas <點金勝手>, Kate and Sharon were spotted having a good time and laughing together on set while rehearsing their lines. Kate even bent down to help Sharon adjust her microphone, which she wore at the back of her waist.
Despite the cold weather, Sharon wore a short dress in an outdoor bar scene. Although Sharon is not a smoker in real-life, she anchored the cigarette on her lips for the scene.
Because filming took place during dinnertime, it attracted a big crowd in the Lan Kwai Fong district. Camera flashes were constantly going off and it disrupted the filming process. Kate had to step in at one point and asked bystanders to stop taking photos. As the weather was turning cold, Sharon tried to cover up her bare legs and hid in a stairway to avoid the wind. Kate found warmth with heat packets which she inserted into the pockets of her jacket.

Never heard the news that they didn’t get along during the filming of Beauty of the Game. It sounds silly, immature, and just like the drama Beauty of the Game itself that Sharon would slap Kate in the scene to retaliate lol…
Maybe they just aren’t friends Kate has always gotten along better with males
they pretend to be friendly because they were in a public area. but i don’t think they are close friends at all. kate doesn’t seem to have many close girl-friends in the industry. maybe there’s a personality clash with the other actresses. myolie, sharon, fala all rumored to not get along with kate.
what’s wrong with kate? not so likeable on-screen and off-screen
Kate is in fact likable off-screen with a smiley face. Maybe her straightforward personality is more liked by the men than the women.
All I know is Kate gets along with guys and calls them her good brother
Some female just naturally don’t get along with other female but easily become friends with guys. I do hope is true and they become friends
