Myolie Wu Portrays a Blind Woman in “Walking With You”
TVB’s new drama, Walking With You <陪着你走>, will star Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) as a blind woman who must overcome certain hardships. Yesterday, Myolie, Moses Chan (陳豪), and Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) filmed a promotional clip on a beach, attracting a public crowd.
Playing with sand and eating cake, Myolie and Moses enjoyed their time sitting on the beach. Since Myolie’s character is blind, Moses is always by her side to support her. Myolie later filmed a scene in which she had to work with a guide dog that was supposed to lead her way. Although she bumped into a passerby and fell to the ground, Moses immediately pulled her back up. Myolie expressed she was intrigued in collaborating with the guide dog, as this is her first time. Her role as a blind woman serves as a new challenge.
On the other hand, Priscilla portrays a social worker. She revealed she actually has a friend who is blind and uses audible computers. Priscilla hopes to leave Hong Kong this year to gain experience that will help her better prepare for the role. She heard that Thailand and Taiwan has good facilities for the blind.
The actual filming for Walking With You will not begin until February 2014. In November, Myolie will be shooting a new period drama, The Vinegar Lady <醋娘子>.
Denies Reports With Bosco Wong
Earlier tabloids claimed ex-boyfriend Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) tried to reconcile with Myolie several times, but her best friend Nancy Wu (胡定欣) has been impeding the situation. Myolie exclaimed, “It’s really lame! This is nothing new and has been around for so long. Nothing like that happened. It’s been a long time and everyone should be heading in new directions with new developments. It’s not benefiting either of us if these reports continue. Everyone should look forward! Also, it has nothing to do with Nancy. She never said anything, and the reports are making her sound as if she’s really stingy!”
With Myolie’s busy work schedule, she revealed she has no time for new love. Currently not in a romantic relationship, Myolie said she would pay attention to pursuers around her.
Moses Keeps Baby’s Gender a Secret
During the TVB’s 46th Anniversary Lighting Ceremony, Moses was questioned several times by Carol Cheng (鄭裕玲) about the gender of his baby. He appeared awkward at the time, but laughed and said he is used to it. Moses announced he would reveal things a bit later. Furthermore, he might loosen up his work schedule in the near future. Is this a sign that it is getting close to his baby’s birth? Moses laughed and exclaimed, “Nope!”

nowadays, moses with anyone is a weirdo match. he’s over the hill and now that he’s married with a baby on the way, it just feels weird seeing him in a relationship with anyone onscreen. he shld act as someone’s dad instead, not someone’s love interest.
There are plenty of older and married actors who play the love interest of the female leads so I do not find anything wrong with that. There are many way older than Moses and no one complains about them.
@HTS you’re right but becos he just got married, the image stuck in my head right now is…..newly married man and father-to-be…..takes a while to get used to it i guess. But i find married actors in romantic roles seriously boring, it’s like they feel they need to be accountable to their wives at the end of the day’s work so they dont really dare to fully immerse in their role, their acting is usually stiff and unnatural in such roles. Single man Moses already bored me to tears….married Moses…..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I remember a old tvb series called 彩色世界(Invisible Journey) starring Jessica Hsuan as a blind girl and also starring Bowie Lam.
@melody: LOL…Invisible Journey actually isn’t THAT old (it’s from 2002 if I remember correctly). That was actually a pretty good series — yes, parts of the storyline were a bit cliched, but the performances from the cast definitely made up for it. Oh and Bowie and Jessica had awesome chemistry in that series!
With all the said, I actually don’t have a lot of confidence in this new Myolie/Moses series either. That type of storyline depends heavily on the acting, especially with emotional scenes and I’m sorry, but neither Moses nor Myolie has ever moved me on an emotional level…
I agree with llwy12 that neither Moses or Myolie are that impressive with their acting so not sure if this series will be good. Jessica and Bowie are way better when it comes to acting. I just wished that they would have a good actress like Taiwanese actress Tammy Chen Yi Rong who is really good at these emotional types of roles. She really touched many people in the series Lavender, The Kid from Heaven and other series.
It’s not something new for a blind character, Esther did it in WOB along with many others. I don’t think a romance disability theme is that strong of a genre with TVB they tried that with Speech Of Silence where it wasn’t even appreciated and of course that Eternal Flower series. Out of her on screen pairings I don’t see much chemistry with her and Moses especially on ITEOTB it was pretty awful. I don’t think romance is neither Myolie or Moses’s strongest area in regards of series productions but we’ll see.

i already feel bored reading this article. the story sounds really lame.
priscilla must have some really powerful connections at top mgt level! Her acting and looks and chicken voice suck, yet she is given one leading role after another! Not looking forward to anything with her in it. I’ll be skipping this. Too bad i cant skip the other one which has ruco and linda in it, guess i’ll have to mentally block her out whenever she appears.
