Raymond Lam Flirts With Charmaine Sheh On Set?
Recent reports claimed that Raymond Lam (林峯) has been living together with girlfriend, Karena Ng (吳千語), for three months. On the filming set of The Apostle <使徒行者>, Raymond exclaimed, “There’s nothing of the sort. Don’t make stuff up!” Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) also helped him dismiss the rumors, but spilled he was very sweet with his girlfriend. Whenever they had a film break, Raymond would be on the phone with Karena.
Aside from treating his girlfriend with attentive care, Raymond is also very friendly with his costars, especially Charmaine. Through collaboration in My Sister of Eternal Flower <花花世界花家姐> in 2011, the costars had already sparked rumors as a romantic couple due to their flirtatious behavior. Working closely with each other again on The Apostle, seemed even closer to Charmaine despite his dating status.
Earlier, cast and crew members of The Apostle gathered in the Yuen Long district to film an intense explosion scene. Raymond plays an undercover cop. The scene featured much action with Raymond and Charmaine frantically running away from their attackers and dodging an explosion. Prior to filming, the pair rehearsed their dialogue and movements closely. As a result, they aced the scene in only three takes.
In a similar scene that followed, Raymond rescued Charmaine and carried her aboard a van while he continued to battle the enemy in a heated crossfire. Although the plot situation was extremely intense, Charmaine flashed a cheerful face as soon as the director yelled cut.
Reportedly, Raymond constantly exhibited flirtatious behavior towards Charmaine and tried to make her laugh. One time, Charmaine wore a cool expression that quickly turned into a sweet smile after Raymond approached with his teasing. He often lingered around Charmaine to tease her playfully. The costars were also constantly caught glancing at each other.

Flirty and friendly is not the same thing? Coworkers being friendly is fairly common. Charmaine strikes me as someone that’s street smart. She’ll get along with anyone even if he doesn’t like them – not saying she doesn’t like Raymond, just a general comment.
